Does anyone have a list of the keystrokes needed to put emoticons in your MSN Messenger screen name? I want to include things like the beer mug, birthday cakes, the martini glass, etc. Can anyone help?

Tell me when you figure it out. I have no idea.

Certainly Jaws users can use ctrl+Shift+M to bring up all of the available emoticons. They're just displayed in list form and you can arrow down or press the first letter of the one you want, and pressing enter will put the image you wish where you left off typing.

Hope that helps.

I think to put it next to your name permanently, after selecting the one you want, you have to tab to OK. But to just use it as part of a IM, I think just selecting it where you leave off typing is fine.

If you're using JAWS, remember to do one thing in preferences under personal:
'Show graphics (emoticons) in instant messages' Uncheck that box. This gives JAWS the ability to see the actual graphic, thus being able to read you what it is. Otherwise, you get a bunch of 'graphic 270s and the like.

Hope this helps
